Cordevento operates in different line-ups. The Trio is Alessandro Pianu (harpsichord) and Izhar Elias (guitar). The ensemble has its own website here. This small group offers three different programs focused on different geographical areas of 17th century music: a Dutch, Spanish and English program. The ensemble also gives concerts in which they combine early and contemporary repertoire.

 

The 'extended' version of Cordevento has the trio members and additional string players: Zefira Valova , Ivan Iliev (baroque violin) and Linda Mantcheva (baroque cello). This bigger group is focused on the music of the 18th century.

 

Erik Bosgraaf & Francesco Corti (harpsichord) offer a program with the sonatas for recorder & harpsichord by George Frideric Handel (1685-1759), as recorded on Brilliant Classics. Music samples can be found in the media section.

 

Erik Bosgraaf & Alessandro Pianu (harpsichord) offer a program with the concerti da camera for recorder & obligato harpsichord by Georg Philipp Telemann (1681-1757). Music samples can be found in the media section.

 

Erik Bosgraaf & Izhar Elias combine their extensive background in historical performance practise with challenging and original new pieces. In their programs the borders between the various disciplines such as instruments, electronics, film, style genres and countries seem to disappear. Bosgraaf & Elias have given numerous concerts and workshops in the Netherlands, Finland, Estonia and Australia.
